Veganuary Las Vegas 2019!

With veganism on the rise, there couldn’t be a better way to raise awareness than what the city of Las Vegas is doing this month! Thirty restaurants in the city have launched a new vegan dish for the very first time.

A portion of the proceeds from each vegan dish served during Veganuary Las Vegas benefits the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Organized by “Vegans, Baby,” this celebration is an impressive salute to a worldwide movement and expansion of consciousness that is recognizing the health and planetary benefits of the vegan lifestyle

Initiatives such as these—which are fast becoming revolutions—inspire people who are trying to go vegan as well as those who want to introduce more vegan foods into their diets. These events also give vegans more options when dining out, so thank you, “Vegans, Baby!”

At Veggie Fest Chicago, we adore all the communities that make an effort to promote a plant-based diet. If you want to know more about some recent stats surrounding the worldwide interest in veganism, check out our New Year’s blog, “Pick up the Greens in 2019.”

We hope to see more initiatives like Veganuary Las Vegas in the upcoming year, and we look forward to discovering more restaurants that are starting to showcase vegan dishes on their menus so that we can become one big vegamily!

The Veganuary movement originated in the United Kingdom.
