Overnight Oats and Flax in Jar Recipe
With this overnight oats recipe you will have four ready-to-go servings of no-cook oatmeal, enhanced with fruit, flax, and chia seeds. Use them as a convenient way to feed a family with a staggered breakfast schedule, or enjoy one a day for four days.

Ingredients

 4 (1-pint) mason jars, wide mouth
 4 cups dairy milk or alternative milk
 1 ⅓ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
 ¼ cup raisins
 2 teaspoons cinnamon
 ¼ cup chia seeds
 ¼ cup ground flax seeds
 1 ⅓ cups fresh blueberries or 2 medium-sized apples
Note
 For gluten-free alternative, use certified gluten- free oats

Instructions

Starting with milk, fill each jar with ¾ cup milk, ⅓ cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon raisins, ½ to 1 teaspoon cinnamon (to taste), 1 tablespoon chia seeds, and 1 tablespoon flax seeds. Stir to mix well.

Add ⅓ cup blueberries to each jar, or ½ apple, pared and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Add remaining ¼ cup of milk to each jar to fill. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 4 days. Simply stir and eat.
