5 Minute Miso Soup Recipe

Gaetan Charest prepared 5-Minute Miso Soup at our October 13th, 2018 Fall Harvest cooking class, held at the Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center in Lisle, Illinois.

Ingredients

 1 tablespoon olive oil
 1 onion, diced
 1 clove garlic, minced
 2 tablespoons red miso paste
 4 quarts water
 3 tablespoons tamari sauce (wheat free)

Instructions

In a large soup pot, heat oil over medium high heat. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent, mixing constantly.

Add miso paste. Mix well. Add water. Bring to boil for 3 minutes, reduce to simmer. Add tamari. Simmer for 2 minutes.
