David Martinez has a Master of Arts degree in Special Education, a second Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and a clinical rehabilitation service credential with an emphasis in visual impairments. He works for the Los Angeles Unified School District as an Orientation & Mobility Instructor teaching blind students ages 3-22. In addition he is adjunct faculty at California State University, Los Angeles co-teaching a teacher preparation summer course. He has also helped edit and contribute to professional publications for the American Foundation for the Blind.
While working on his undergraduate degree in psychology David founded a Meditation Club, helping many to learn about the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of meditation. David has also co-facilitated workshops on the benefits of the vegetarian diet. He has been a lacto-vegetarian and student of meditation for over 10 years under the guidance of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj.
