Gary Moed holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the City University of New York and also completed a post-masters credential in Educational Administration. As a young man in 1972, he met the great saint, Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj, and began his practice of vegetarianism and meditation.
He now serves as a High School Principal in the Seattle area, having recently twice been selected as Principal of the Year in the King County region of Washington State. Additionally, Gary serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Science of Spirituality organization in the Northwest portion of the United States.
Gary will speak about how vegetarianism opens up new vistas and possibilities for those who choose this lifestyle. Not only increasing the likelihood of long-lasting health, vegetarianism supports the health of the planet, opens up new ways to be ethical, provides a foundation for a spiritual life, and places each of us in charge of our own destiny.
