(LISLE, IL) Veggie Fest Chicago, one of the largest vegetarian food and lifestyle festivals in North America, drew record-breaking crowds of over 40,000 people from around the world last year. This summer, the two-day festival returns to the campus of Benedictine University, 5700 College Rd., Lisle, IL 60532, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on August 12 and 13, 2017.
With a huge international food court; health professionals speaking on diet, lifestyle, and environmental issues; engaging food demos by restaurant owners, chefs, and authors; an incredible children's tent with face painting, clowns, and crafts; live music from some of Chicago's best bands; over 100 vendor booths to explore; and free admission and free parking, Veggie Fest has become a highly anticipated summer event in the Chicagoland area.
Returning as keynote speakers on healthy living will be Kim Allan Williams, Sr., MD, past President, American College of Cardiology; Chief, Division of Cardiology, Rush University Medical Center; and Terry Mason, MD, Chief Operating Officer, Cook County Department of Public Health.
In addition to coupon books for thousands of dollars of merchandise redeemable at local vendors and the opportunity to take the popular 14-day vegetarian challenge, yoga classes will be a new feature at this year's Veggie Fest.
Admission and parking are both free, and you'll find tons of fun for the whole family. For more information about Veggie Fest Chicago 2017 visit us online at www.veggiefestchicago.org.
