(LISLE, IL) Renowned spiritual Master Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, head of Science of Spirituality, a worldwide spiritual organization dedicated to transforming lives through meditation, will be the keynote speaker at the Spirituality & Health Symposium at the 11th Annual Veggie Fest on July 23-24 in Lisle, IL.
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj has been recognized internationally by civic and social leaders as one of the great spiritual Masters of our time. He travels around the globe teaching a simple, yet life-changing form of meditation on the inner Light and Sound. He is the best-selling author of several meditation books, Spark of the Divine and Meditation as Medication for the Soul being his most recent.
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj is a life-long proponent of the vegetarian lifestyle as a key principle for achieving optimum health physically, mentally, and spiritually. The spiritual Master will speak on both days of Veggie fest. Saturday's keynote will be "Healthy and Happy You" and Sunday's talk is titled "Keys to a Peaceful Life." Both talks will take place at 2:30PM in the main tent at Veggie Fest. Last year, almost 3,000 people attended these two important addresses.
Additional keynote speakers on healthy living include Dr. Kim Allan Williams, Sr., M.D., President, American College of Cardiology, Chief, Division of Cardiology, Rush University Medical Center who will be speaking on Saturday, 1:00 pm in the main tent on "Nutrition and Heart Disease: Taking the DIE out of Diet," and Dr. Terry Mason MD, Chief Operating Officer, Cook County Department of Public Health who will be speaking on Sunday, 1:00 pm in the main tent on: "The Public Health Approach to Breast Cancer."
